HOw to use student feedbacK?

If you have any complains regards to the academic matter or anything about the university, you may use the student feedback provided in the Utar Portal to give your feedback.

How to use student feedback?
1) Login to https://portal.utar.edu.my/loginPage.jsp by using your ID number and password.
2) There is a Student Feedback column on left side and click it.
3) There will be instructions on how to use student feedback.
4) Click the Student Feedback form on left to type in the problems that you encounter.
5) The person in charge will need to reply you within 3 working days. Please come back to check the reply under the Check Status.
6) If you still not satisfy with the reply given, please kindly approach to Student representative committee.

5th National Mathematics Competition

There will be a National Mathematics Competition on this Saturday(31st July 2010) from 7.30am to 4.00pm in Faculty of Engineering and Science, UTAR. This event is organised by UTAR Mathematics Society.

The objectives of this competition are to promote interest in Mathematics and to strengthen Mathematical skills. Besides, it is to create a networking platform among local undergraduate students and to challenge, encourage and develop all mathematically gifted undergraduate students in Malaysia, and to foster friendly relationship among undergraduate students from each university.

There will be THREE CATEGORIES which is:
Category A - 20 mutiple choice questions within ONE HOUR.
Category B - 200 simple arithmetics questions within TEN MINUTES
Category C - This is an ELIMINATIONS GAME. There is NO LIMITATION to the number of questions as long as within the duration.

The prizes for each categories are very tempting as below.
Category A - First prize: RM1000 + Certificate
Second prize: RM700 + Certificate
Third prize: RM300 + Certificate
5 Consolation prizes: RM100 + Certificate

Category B - First prize: RM250 + Certificate
Second prize: RM150 + Certificate
Third prize: RM100 + Certificate
5 Consolation prizes: RM50 + Certificate

Category C - First prize: RM150 Hamper + Certificate
Second prize: RM100 Hamper + Certificate
2 Consolation prizes: RM50 + Certificate

1st go student feedback complain what you want to complain. Management has to take action and give response in 3days. If no any action taken, please kindly refer to SRC members. We will help you bring the issues to higher level of management.

Grateful To Those Who Came For The Petition

As everyone know that there has a petition about "Against the Unfair Acts of TBR Residents" today. Thank you for those who had came to sign the petition and support us.The total signatures have been collected by us is 361. Due to short of time, the SR has to meet our UTAR Presidents, Prof. Chua tommorrow. Thus, we can just have a day to collect the signatures from you.We appologise to those who cannot sign the petition.Lastly but not least, we appreciate your support and effort. Against the UNFAIR ACT from TBR residents

To all of the UTAR FES students (car owners & non car owners), on seeing the problems we are facing now in TBR parkings, we, the SRC, are going to do a petition and collect signatures from all of you. Please approach us at the cafeteria tomorrow (Monday, 19 July 2010) starting 10am till 5pm. Your cooperation are much appreciated.

The Very 1st Step

Hello dear readers. This is the official blogspot for the UTAR FES Campus SRC 2010/2011. This blog will be updated with all the actions taken, events and all other stuffs regarding our beloved campus. Hopefully you guys will follow this blog closely as we will be having important infos posted here.
